Australia Downwinding | One of my Favourite Spots!
Check out this edit from Dave West showing one of his favourite spots in Australia! A special spot called Povos! On a running out tide the wind goes straight up the channel creating these river style waves, relating to the Hood River!
« Just outside of Brisbane is one of the most fun downwinding spots you can find in Australia. Only 20 metres from shore will be perfect tall and steep wind bumps. Perfect to learn on and try out new gear and smaller foils and boards. After you go downwind – you paddle back up wind with the help of the current – or a foildrive. Catching up with Trevor King – who came all the way from Byron Bay ( 3 1/2 hours away) to enjoy this natural phenom – made it all the more fun. And huge thanks to Trevor and Ryan for capturing some footage! Enjoy! »
