3066 – An Alpine Foil Adventure | Full Movie
Follow Foil surfers Steeve Fleury and Léonard Berner heading to the Valais Alps in the summer of 2022 to foil on pristine glacial lakes 3000 meters above sea level in the midst of epic surroundings. They tie their pumpfoil set-up, tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad to their backs as homemade backpacks and head out. During the day, Berner and Fleury hike uphill in scorching heat, eat raclette and sleep in their tent at night in frosty conditions and snowfall. The adventurers spend three days in the Valais Alps in the Arolla region. The biggest uncertainty is the water level in the mountain lakes after the warmest and driest summer since measurements began. Will it be enough to foil? At the beginning still marvelled by hikers, later soon lonely in rugged alpine terrain the two actually find lakes to foil – the highest is at 3066 meters above sea level.
