Champions crowned at the 2025 India Paddle Festival

The 2025 India Paddle Festival delivered intense racing, standout performances, and a glimpse into the future of Stand Up Paddling (SUP) in India. From dominant victories to rising young talent, here’s a full breakdown of the action from Mangalore’s Sasihitlu Beach.


Christian-wins

After an impressive 2nd place finish in 2024, Christian Andersen returned to India determined to make history. A 3rd place finish in the Distance Race on Day 1 meant he needed a win in the sprints on Day 2 to secure the overall title.

Displaying calm composure and skill, Andersen dominated his heats and entered the final against Day 1 victor Antonio Morillo. With a powerful start and a well-timed wave ride from the last buoy, Andersen surged to victory—riding an inflatable board against a stacked field of the world’s best on composite race boards.
