Brazilian Nicole Pacelli makes history this year on the Stand Up World Tour, by securing her first ever World Title here at the last event in France. With a stressful waiting game for the young Champion after getting knocked out in the quarterfinals, Vanina Walsh (Starboard) not making it to the finals meant that she had indeed secured the Title. An incredible achievement by the young Brazilian as this surfing nation is certainly making their presence felt on the global stage.
