RAVEN

The Raven features a raking bow and stern, hard chines in the mid-
ships, and is well balanced. Neutral trim creates a boat that is quick
with crisp handling in all conditions. All surfaces are fair, avoiding
unnecessary turbulent flow. This allows the boat to be highly
maneuverable without loss of forward speed. The harder chines
mid-ship provide great tracking while on a wave, the raked bow and
stern actually increase the waterline length when the boat is loaded.
At 16 1/2 feet, the Raven can accommodate multi-day touring as
well as day tripping and ocean play.

The Fathom is sure to please the paddler looking for that extra edge
of performance regardless of skill level. The Fathom’s eficient hull is
fast, nearly effortless to accelerate to speed, and has comfortable initial
stability and high secondary stability making leaned carved turns and
bow rudder turns a breeze. The Fathom tracks well either forward or
backwards and subtle deployment of the skeg in small increments
allows for ine-tuning in any wind/wave or gear loaded coniguration.

TRACER 165

The Tracer 165 and 165S paddle like they are on proverbial rails.
This light, stiff kayak transitions between inland lakes and coastal
waters with ease, and with the subtle British-inspired rocker and
moderate V hull, the Tracer 165 dances on the surface. There’s
storage fore and aft, plus boatloads of comfort in the cockpit.
Available in an ‘‘S’’ version in 2014 for the smaller paddler. Comes
standard with a skeg, but a rudder is optional.
