The Lyon Kayak is an event that takes place every year in September on the Saone River through the historic city of Lyon, France. Nearly 2000 paddlers got on the water in 2014, in kayaks, canoes, dragon boats, and on stand up paddle boards--en route for the win or cruising with friends and family. It has become one the of the biggest gatherings of paddlesports enthusiasts in the world.
